It's got a nice weight to it and feels substantial in the hand. Even without sliding, just grasping it calms me down like a mini gratitude rock. At first i tightened it too much and it got stuck. But then i released some tension and it glides smoother. I wish the material won't get warm in the hands but it's metal, so i guess it can't be helped. I want to get the silver one to see if that feels cooler to touch. I think spinners are very personal and not everyone may enjoy it, but it's quite satisfying to use and very well made.

I like the finish and the moderately quiet sound of the sliding mechanism. However, there seems to be some play between the top plate's wedge and the bottom plate's rail, so there are times when the rail gets stuck and doesn't move when sliding back and forth. If I hold the top and bottom plates tightly while sliding, the problem doesn't occur, so it seems like you need to hold it firmly when using it.
